Hans-Ulrich Behnecke, Dipl.-Ing. (FH), General Manager

As senior engineer Hans-Ulrich Behnecke has achieved 14 years of experience in development and operations of power plants. He began his professional career as project engineer in an investment company, which develops biomass cogeneration plants. After starting commercial operations Hans-Ulrich Behnecke took over the management of a biomass plant as Operations Manager for 3 years. After that he developed biomass co-generation plants and a biogas plant as Partner and Project Manager in a project development company. In the course of portfolio extension Hans-Ulrich Behnecke served as Managing Director of an RDF (refuse-derived fuel) power plant with latest technology. At NovusEnergy Hans-Ulrich Behnecke was in charge of operation management and greenfield development. Through his deep contact base in the recycling sector he focused on fuel management for our plant in Brunsbüttel, as well.
In May 2010 Hans-Ulrich Behnecke was appointed as Managing Director of BEBC, the operating company of the Brunsbüttel cogeneration plant.

Danny Sievers, Dipl.-Ing. (FH), Engineer

As construction engineer with 7 years of sound experience in construction of industrial plants, particularly power plants, Danny Sievers complements our engineering team. His expertise spans construction planning and site management, verifiable calculations/statics, call for tenders and contract awards as well as and project controlling. For NovusEnergy Danny Sievers supervised the construction of the cogeneration plant in Brunsbüttel and supported the implementation of the ERP-system based procurement and material management. Danny Sievers is in charge of contract and strategic fuel management for BEBC and has developed our quality management system.
